Master Lim Guan Yong's Biography |
|
| Master Lim Guan Yong, whose ancestral hometown is Guangdong Chaozhou, was born in Singapore. As both his father and uncle trained in martial arts, Master Lim has taken up martial arts as a form of game since his childhood. In the 70s, Master Lim took up martial arts while it was still deemed as a national fitness pastime. Master Lim initially followed Master Ong Ah Yong, distinguished martial artist of Hong Jia Quan (Hung Gar Kuen), to master the basic skills and later further his training under the supervision of Master Fang Dian Wen. |
